5.00 pm, AEDT Tuesday, 1 December 2020

Each year at the CBAA Conference, we hold the Women & Gender Non-Conforming People’s Forum, an opportunity for community broadcasters who identify as part of this group to get together to discuss the issues that are important to them.

As this year’s Conference is 100% virtual, we’ll be hosting this year’s Forum as an online session.

The session's topics will be lead by you. When registering, please take a moment to suggest the topics you would like to discuss.

You can register online – please note this will be a meeting event where video discussions are welcome and encouraged! As such the event will be capped at 50 people. If interest is higher, we will look at adapting this to a webinar-style session instead.

Hosted by CBAA’s Women and Gender Non-Conforming People's Representative, Maddy Macquine Maddy Macquine

Maddy Macquine is currently SYN Media’s Community Manager and the host of FBi Radio's flagship storytelling program, All The Best. Maddy’s passion lies in facilitating skills development and improving participation throughout the sector. This includes enhancing the voices of women and gender non-conforming people in community radio spaces. She has a keen interest in using cross-sector consultation to encourage participation and diversity in all community broadcasting spaces, across metro, sub-metro, regional and rural stations.

Join in this session to have your say, share your experiences and network.
