On the 23rd of March 2013, Eurobodalla Shire's 2EAR FM hosted a fabulous community Open Day in their grounds, in Rose Street Moruya.

The day featured a wide variety of local community groups and entertainers banding together to share their expertise and talent with the community.

Over 30 groups attended the day and several local entertainers had the opportunity to broadcast live to air, giving them a unique experience. The Open Day was  well attended by the local community and was a day packed with laughter, conversation and admiration from and for  all involved. The groups in attendance also had the opportunity to raise funds and awareness of their various activities.

Australian Country music icon, Troy Cassar-Daley performed at the event along with up and coming local musician Cameron Cusack. Both artists were touring the area as part of a series of concerts to raise funds for the Rural Fire Service. Following a memorable interview with 2EAR FM's Kathy Shields, Troy decided that he would love to help the station out by performing at the Open Day.

It was a fantastic day, and everyone at 2EAR FM is still talking about it and the success of the event.
