500 shows on JOY 94.9 - now that’s something to celebrate!

‘Women on Waves’ is JOY’s much loved independent women’s music show, presented by Anita Gibbons, a proud JOY volunteer and presenter for over 19 years.

This March, ‘Women on Waves’ is celebrating 500 shows on JOY with a very special tribute concert to Anita and her show on Saturday March 23 at the Eureka Hotel in Richmond.

An amazing selection of Australian female performers will perform in honour of Anita and ‘Women On Waves’ including Marie Wilson, Michelle Parsons, Jade Leonard, Kerryn Fields, Di Watson, Pippa Wilson and Nicolette Forte with stand up from Bobbi Macumber. MC’s for the evening will be Anita’s regular W.O.W co-hosts Sammi & Lisa plus special guests too.
