CBAA Conference Postponed

CBAA new conference dates are Thursday 27 - Saturday 29 October 2022.

After much deliberation and discussion with stakeholders, we have made the tough decision to postpone the CBAA Conference 2022 that was to be held on Thursday 24 - Saturday 26 March 2022.

It was agreed that the risk posed by COVID is still high - particularly the risk of being stuck in Cairns through periods of isolation if someone (or large numbers of us) caught COVID. While many still felt confident and excited to travel, more were hesitant to do so. And sadly, for our WA members, border closures still present a challenge. 

We’ve made the call to postpone, and instead come together on new dates in October in Cairns. We are currently working with our invited speakers and stakeholders to reschedule commitments. 

As you are already registered, we will transfer your registration to the new dates in October at no additional cost. We do understand if you are unable to attend these new dates and need to cancel your registration; please advise our Conference organisers, ICMS, by reply email to [email protected] and we will refund your registration in full less credit fees. If you have booked accommodation through the registration portal, ICMS will be in contact with you directly to make the changes you need in the near future. Please note that the format and venue for the conference will remain unchanged for when we meet in October at the Shangri-La Cairns.

We would like to thank you in advance for your patience as we work through the various changes due to the new date. We will provide updated registration confirmations to all attendees in the near future.
