The CBAA's 2020-21 Annual Review is now available to read!

The year was a difficult one for our sector, but also a year full of opportunities. With most of the world in the grip of the COVID-19 pandemic, our sector worked to find its new norm, particularly our Victorian members who spent quite some time in lockdown. But it was also a year of resilience, adaptability, innovation and collaboration.

CBAA submission to the independent review of Australia’s COVID-19 response

The CBAA's submission highlighted the critical role played by community broadcasters in delivering local information and connecting their communities through crises like the COVID-19 pandemic and recommended that the community broadcasting sector should be better utilised in government health and other advertising campaigns, including its COVID-19 campaign, to amplify messaging to otherwise under-served communities and provide targeted financial support to local community stations.

From the Embers 2: Phoenix
