Named after the late Stefan Kruger, in recognition of his generosity and passion for music, the Fine Music 102.5 Kruger Scholarship will benefit musicians, composers, singers or budding broadcasters who demonstrate the interest, commitment and potential to have a viable career in classical or jazz music.

Applicants need to detail a project or course of study with the potential to significantly enhance their career. The application process includes a written submission outlining their project plan, budget plan and suitability for the scholarship. A five minute CD or DVD demonstrating the applicant’s performance or compositional abilities, and supporting proof of a project concept is also required. $10,000 will be paid either directly, or reimbursed for travelling and living expenses, fees and other costs associated with their project. An additional $5000 inkind support will be provided through marketing, promotion, broadcasting and recording services at the station.
