What have you learnt about our sector since commencing your role at CBAA?

The community radio sector is full of really passionate and generous people who dedicated themselves to creating incredible content and giving back to their communities.

What drew you to CBAA/community radio?

My partner worked in broadcast regulation for many years and I was drawn to the industry as we talked about the Australian media landscape.  Because she was a regulator I didn’t think I could be part of the industry unitl after she left her role a couple of years ago.  So now is the time for me to get involved in this exciting sector.

You are offered a radio show - you can have any timeslot, play whatever music you like, discuss whatever you feel is of interest - what is happening today on the Jerome Fink Variety Hour Radio Show

My show is the Modern Pacific Compendium – Herbs, Black Brothers, Fat Freddy, things like that.  I lived in the Solomon Islands for a couple of years and came to experience a little of wonderful Pacific music.
