Melbourne SwitchMelbourne digital radio launch at Federation Square

Nine metropolitan stations including; 3CR, 3 Kool n Deadly, 3MBS, PBS, 3RPH, Triple R, SYN, 89.9 Light FM and 3ZZZ gathered at Federation Square last Thursday, 14th April, to celebrate the beginning of community digital radio services in Melbourne. All nine stations broadcast live from the event.  The launch, attended by Melbourne’s Lord Mayor, Robert Doyle and MC’d by Brian Nankervis, was an outstanding success with community broadcasters showcasing their technical prowess.
