Mildura Country Music Festival coverage

It's the biggest get together of independent country music entertainers in the land, culminating in the Southern Stars Awards, and stations around the country will have the chance to take their listeners to the action courtesy of the Community Radio Network.

The Good Morning Country team will again be presenting numerous special broadcasts from the Mildura Country Music Festival.

• The daily GMC breakfast show will come from the studios of Hot FM, Mildura, from 30 Sep to 4 Oct;

• GMC's Kev Walsh presents overnight specials from Hot FM's studios (00:06 - 05:00 EST) on Thu & Fri 26-27 Sep and 3-4 Oct;

• The nationwide Saturday breakfast show will also come direct from the studios of Hot FM during this time

• A live broadcast from the Southern Stars, the 17th Australian independent country music awards, is happening on Sat 5 October. Event preview from 17:30 - 18:00 EST. Awards and stage presentation from 18:00 - 21:00 EST. Click here for a list of the award finalists!
