Star Observer Digital is the first community radio digital pop-up station in Sydney and is a collaboration between Sydney's 2SER 107.3, Melbourneʼs JOY 94.9 and iconic LGBTI newspaper, the Star Observer.

Star Observer Digital will run from February 11-March 3 2013 and will feature great music as well as plenty of conversation about LGBTI issues.

It is the first community radio digital pop-up station in Sydney, broadcast through 2SER alongside its usual digital programming.

Running for three weeks, it will be producing weekly morning shows 10am-midday from 2SER, playing JOY 94.9 programs such as the popular Two Fat Lattes, as well as exclusive digital content from 2SER.

“Weʼre very excited to have created this pop-up station on 2SERʼs digital stream and providing this service to the LGBTI community as well as delivering new and interesting content to digital radio listeners,” 2SER managing director Melanie Withnall said.
