A well-managed music library can help improve your stations’ sound by ensuring presenters have new and high quality music at their fingertips, 24/7.

In this webinar, you’ll learn about:

  • Developing systems in your station that save you time and help broadcasters locate all music available to them.
  • Options for organising music across different formats like digital, CDs and vinyl.
  • Free tools available to help your station access new Australian music, including the Australian Music Radio Airplay Project (Amrap)’s AirIt and CD Mailout services.

Who is this for?
Station Managers, Music Directors, Music Library Coordinators or similar, especially at small – medium sized stations.

Presented by:

  • Chris Johnson, CBAA Head of Programs & Services and Amrap Manager
  • Chelsea Deeley, Amrap Assistant and former Music Director at 89.7 Eastside FM

Hosted by CBAA Member Services Officer Danny Chifley.

Chris Johnson has worked in radio, music and new-media development for over a decade.

He is Head of Programs and Services at the Community Broadcasting Association of Australian (CBAA), including management of the Australian Music Radio Airplay Project (Amrap). Amrap distributes new Australian music to community radio and empowers broadcasters to promote Australian artists on air and online.

Chelsea Deeley is the Amrap Pages and CD Mailout coordinator at the CBAA, working with hundreds of stations to gather and coordinate music. Chelsea was Music Director at Eastside Radio and still produces and presents a weekly new music program.

This webinar was held at 6:30pm AEST on Wednesday, 28 June 2017.
