With the Community Radio Plus app launch nearing, we want to showcase its features to our community broadcasters and provide you with the information you need to promote it to your listeners.

Community Radio Plus will be a one-stop-shop for listeners to hear community radio. It will feature community radio stations nationwide and champion our sector's rich and diverse content to listeners everywhere.

Andrew Morris – CBAA Manager Online Products and Services

Andrew is the CBAA's Manager for Online Products and Services and is the project manager for the development and rollout of Community Radio Plus.

He has 24 years of experience in the Australian radio industry, including on-air, programming and over the past 15 years leading Sydney’s Hope 103.2’s digital and online content strategy.

Under Andrew’s leadership, Hope 103.2 became early leaders in the Australian online radio industry with innovative UX lead web design which included being early adopters in audio on-demand, streaming music channels, podcasting, and online fundraising. He also created one of Australia’s most popular pop up DAB+ stations, Christmas Hope and most recently a number one ranked podcast on Apple Podcasts, How in God’s Name Should I Vote?

Richard Phelps – All In Media Senior Digital Producer

Community Radio Plus is developed by All In Media who have worked on apps for ABC, SBS, Commercial Radio Australia and the BBC and UK Radio industry.

Richard works with many of Australia’s biggest and most dynamic radio companies, along with the industry body CRA to deliver results for the industry and individual business strategies through mobile apps, app analytics, design/US, backend solutions and insights.

Richard's experience includes overhauling radio website properties, launching mobile apps and DAB digital radio integration. He created and presented a range of custom and strategically designed network broadcast schematics for the National Pacific Radio Trust in New Zealand.

He has been on the radio, holding on-air positions as daytime, drive and night-time host on most formats. He has assisted with the design and development of a state-of-the-art audio production facility and built and ran a successful LPFM Radio Station from the ground up.

Holly has been working and volunteering in independent and community music and arts media since 2010. Working as the CBAA's Head of Advocacy and Communications, Holly supports the sector's leadership efforts and liaises with Government, as well as ensuring our members have the information they need to be strong and successful.
