The world is awash with misinformation, disinformation and propaganda. There has never been a greater need for accurate, reliable information, but traditional journalism is under pressure just when we need it most.

Newspapers are closing, reporters are disappearing and too often opinion is taking the place of reliable reporting. More and more, small community publishers are stepping up and providing coverage of important local issues. Now is the time to remind ourselves of the essential elements of good reporting - principles that we can all understand and follow.

What does it mean to be impartial and balanced?
How do I connect with my community?
What is the 'public interest' and how do I find it?
What's the best way to deliver diverse perspectives?

Join our webinar, held in conjunction with the Community Media Training Organisation, to learn the answers to these questions and more.
