The country's biggest folk festival is back on community radio for another year!

As is the annual tradition, in 2017 a team of 4ZZZ and 4EB producers are heading back to the Woodford Folk Festival in to bring you all of the excitement from the 31st year of south-east Queensland's global festival.

Coming to stations and their audiences via the Community Radio Network will be everything from the festival's street performers, speakers, musicians and punters who make up the wonderful world of Woodford.

Roving reporters and photographers will be the eyes and ears on the ground for a different kind of festival experience.

Feel the vibe of the first few days of Woodfordia with interviews from yoga professionals, hear how meditation has changed punters lives as our Woodford reporters take you into the marquees of the health workshops around the festival. Our roving reporters will bring you the best of Woodford street life as the festival blossoms into life.

Tune in for interviews with some of Woodford’s big names this year - John Butler, Holy Holy, Vaudeville Smash and Husky. Our reporters will also be talking to the big names of the science world covering marine and climate science, and speakers from the UNESCO World Heritage Programme.
