CBAA appoints new General Manager

The Community Broadcasting Association of Australia (CBAA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Jon Bisset to the role of General Manager.

Jon replaces the outgoing GM, Kath Letch.

The Community Broadcasting Foundation (CBF) is an independent non-profit funding agency that solicits and distributes funds for the maintenance and development of community broadcasting in Australia.

Content Development Grants and Round 1, 2012/13 Ethnic, Indigenous and Transmission Equipment grants are now open.

Community Radio Broadcasting Codes of Practice Review - Stage 2

The Community Radio Broadcasting Codes of Practice Review is now at Stage 2 of the consultation process.  Stage 1 involved the gathering of feedback from stations, sector organisations and the general public about the current Codes.  Stage 2 sees the circulation of the review document with proposed amendments to the Codes, as approved by the CBAA Board.   The Stage 2 Review Document is available here
