Excitement is mounting for the 2014 Reclink Community Cup, the annual AFL clash between the Triple R 102.7FM/PBS 106.7FM Megahertz and the Rockdogs.

With only four weeks until the big game, the full line up of artists performing on the day has been revealed.

Aussie cult 80s favourite Painters And Dockers will grace the stage in a rare performance. Saskwatch will deliver their special brand of traditional soul meets modern atmospheric rock. Melbourne folk-punk four-piece Smith Street Band will also make an appearance and are bound to stir up the crowd, along with indie darling and leader of the cosmic country spaceways, Fraser A. Gorman.

Entertainment for the day kicks off with a pre-match treat direct from Sesame Street as Elmo & Friends (featuring the Cookie Monster) perform for the kids.

The anthem will be delivered by David Bridie, lending it his special twist.

The Reclink Community Cup raises funds for Reclink Australia and celebrates Melbourne’s dynamic music and community broadcasting cultures. Reclink Australia uses sport and the arts to enhance the lives of people experiencing disadvantage and targets some of the community’s most vulnerable and isolated people. With the recent announcement of the organisation losing $560,000 of their funding during the recent Federal Budget cuts, this year it is more important than ever to show your support.

With such an eclectic line up, it’s certain the 2014 Reclink Community Cup will once again deliver an entertaining day out.
