Deutsche Welle suspends internship program for 2015.

The CBAA and Deutsche Welle, Germany’s international public broadcaster, have previously offered two six-month internships each year in Deutsche Welle’s English language department. The CBAA is passing this message along on behalf of the Deutsche Welle:

Unfortunately Deutsche Welle will not be able to attend this year's CBAA conference. DW is going through a restructuring process which will rejuvenate and refresh our TV and Radio programs. As this process will only be finished by the beginning of next year,  we decided to come back to the CBAA conference when we have lots of new programs to offer to all our partners.

However, in the meantime, you might want to have a look at our first new 30 minute young people's TV program "Life Links", which will be launched on October 18.

DW has also decided to suspend our internship program for the time being. Our current Australian intern Andrea Nierhoff from SYN90.7 FM is, of course, still at DW in Bonn. We hope to be able to offer applications for a new round of internships from March/April next year. Please keep an eye out for our advertisments on the CBAA website, and keep on learning German!
