Inspiring Stories by Young Victorians

On Monday 29 September at Parliament House  the Minister for Youth Affairs, Ryan Smith launched the book - 'Inspiring Stories by young Victorians'.

The book features the stories of 60 young Victorian's who have participated in a range of youth projects supported by the Victorian Government.

One of the projects is 'Be Heard' a program to encourage youth participation on community radio in rural and regional areas.

OKR FM presenter Audrey Flannery (pictured) is featured in the book as a participant in the 'Be Heard' program and was one of three young people to address the audience at the launch.

Other community broadcasters featured include SYN's Tess Lawley, Bianca Gawith, Michael Casha and Jonathan Brown.
