The May schedule for the Community Radio Network is now online and includes three new programs available for selection. Two of these are limited edition series - we encourage you to order now to ensure you don’t miss out.

In Search of a Good Death (PBA-FM)

Palliative care, comfort, and meaning at life's end. 'Go Home And Get Your Affairs In Order' - words that no-one would ever wish to hear. Yet this does happen, when a life-limiting illness is diagnosed. In a new 18-part weekly series, PBA FM's Tony Ryan, the producer of 2013's Living Outback, looks at many aspects of hospice and palliative care, through interviews with carers and professionals in Queensland, NSW, Victoria, South Australia and Western Australia. This is an important series which all stations should consider broadcasting.

Download a 10 minute program sample here. Playing Fridays at 13:32 EDT, from 2 May to 29 August.

Ten Tales

A new series of 10 documentaries produced by Swinburne University students. The series features stories of struggle, discovery, hope, haunting and some Chinese comedy thrown in for good measure.

10 x 25-26 mins. Playing Thursdays from 09:04 to 09:32 EST, from 1 May to 3 July.

Urban Meltdown

Upfront and independent RnB, soul and urban tunes. Featuring music you won't have heard on commercial stations: independent releases, quality underground tunes, and big tracks predominantly from the US and UK, before they make it big over here. If you want to keep upfront and infront then the Urban Meltdown will be the place for you to be.

55'50 mins, playing Mondays at 23:00 EST from 5 May.

The Community Radio Network (CRN) is the CBAA’s program distribution and sustaining service, delivering radio programs in a  real-time audio stream via satellite.
