Do you know a young person who is…

• demonstrating a passionate commitment to social justice and caring for community?
• creating initiatives and benchmarks that inspire their peers to take positive action?
• furthering the understanding and integration of indigenous culture and heritage?
• trail-blazing with initiatives for creating equitable and sustainable societies?

In proud partnership with the Jane Goodall Institute Australia, SBN is delighted to offer the National & International Indigenous Youth Award. In honour of their achievements, both the recipients of the SBN/JGI Australia National Indigenous Award and International Indigenous Award will be offered a mentorship via Jane Goodall’s Roots & Shoots Global and Australian networks, to provide further opportunities for leadership development within their community.

This year SBN has launched the Global Youth Media Award in partnership with 3WBC 94.1fm. This category is open to young people 25 years and under who are making a positive difference via any form of media – radio, TV, print or online.
Nominees can be entered into any 2 of the 6 categories for the 2013 SBN Awards:
