Star Observer Radio

Star Observer Radio was a collaborative LGBTIQ digital pop-up service broadcasting on DAB+ in Sydney and streaming online for the Sydney Mardi Gras season in 2013 and 2014. It is sex, sexuality and gender-diverse digital radio.

Star Observer, JOY949 (Melb), 4ZZZ (Bris), Radio Adelaide and RTR (Perth) contributed a unique mix of LGBTIQ music and interviews to make a 24-hour 

schedule over 6 weeks. The program schedule contained existing content from stations weekly program grids in addition to completely unique content from guest programmers & broadcasters from local  LGBTIQ communities. Programs covered a range of topics from political discussion, comedy, satirical talks, specialist music and current affairs.
