Every year, the SACBA gathers members for their annual conference. In 2014, the SACBA Conference will be held from 13-14 July at the Lakes Resort Hotel and will feature workshops on voice, copywriting, recording, editing, social media and more.
The SACBA 2013 state conference was held at West Lakes in Adelaide over the weekend of 20-21 July.Over 70 people from 16 stations were in attendance, discussing community radio and watching through the wall of glass as wind, rain and hail swept across West Lakes.
As always, a highlight of the SACBA Conference were the Bilby Awards celebrating the contribution community radio makes to the South Australian community and encourages high achievement within the sector.
Technorama 2012, to be held in Adelaide on weekend of 28-29 July as part of the 2012 SACBA Conference, is a great opportunity for sharing ideas, experience and solving technical problems unique to the community sector.
South Australian Community Broadcasters Association (SACBA) is the peak body for community broadcasters in South Australia. Since forming in 1983, the SACBA has been actively supporting community radio in South Australia.
