How do we as a sector maintain our position as innovators, tastemakers and curators of content in the new media environment?

At the 2016 CBAA Conference, Nicola Joseph from the Community Media Training Organisation, James Cridland, Radio Futurologist, Bec Petratis formerly of SYN and photographer Wayne Quilliam joined us for the panel The Future of Content. Facilitated by Sista Zai Zanda (3CR), the panel discussed issues regarding how stations can thrive in a changing media landscape. This included understanding the convergence of old and new media technologies, how to better 'visualise' audio, how to immortalise audio in the digital realm and how to best leverage community radio’s strengths in local, diverse and specialised content and programming to grow as stations and as a sector.

Listen back to the session below.

Next year's conference will be on the sunny Gold Coast, 9-12 November 2017.
