Star Observer Digital Pop Up Service is Back for 2014

Following its successful launch in 2013, Star Observer Digital is back on air until March 16.

Star Observer Digital is Sydney’s Only Digital Radio station for people expressing sex, sexuality and gender diversities.

Powered by Sydney’s 2ser 107.3 and Melbourne’s JOY 94.9, you’ll hear what it’s like to grow up queer in different cultures, get your gay geek on in video games, the history of LGBTIQPA music, a Eurovision show, as well as some great DJ sets. This year we’re creating more than five times the amount of unique content than last year.

Programs from JOY 94.9, 4ZZZ, Radio Adelaide, 3SYN and RTR will also be simulcast, bringing news and views from around the country. The Mardi Gras Parade will be broadcast live on March 1.

Star Observer Digital was the first community radio digital pop-up radio station in Sydney broadcast through 2SER alongside its usual digital programming.

2ser is a not-for-profit, independent community station, which broadcasts to the greater Sydney area on 107.3 FM, digital radio and on the web via 2ser Website and Star Observer Website.

For 35 years, 2ser has provided Sydney with specialist music, news, opinion and current affairs programs that offer a unique insight into alternative culture and ideas that are largely ignored by the mainstream.
