The Community Radio Broadcasting Codes of Practice review is currently underway.

The Codes set out programming and operational standards that stations must follow. The CBAA is responsible for coordinating a periodic review of the Codes to ensure that they keep up with changing community standards and remain relevant in the contemporary media environment.

This Webinar will explain how to contribute and highlight the key areas where guidance from the sector is sought on how to make the Codes clearer, more flexible and less onerous for stations to comply with.

The session will cover:
  • How to make a submission
  • Why the Codes are being reviewed
  • What changes have been suggested and why
  • Areas where sector feedback particularly important

This webinar was presented by CBAA CEO Jon Bisset and CBAA Policy Advisor, Frieda Lee.

This webinar was held at 3:00pm (AEDT) Thursday 8 December 2022
