A month ahead of its 20th birthday, 2SSR FM in Sydney’s south has completed the finishing touches on the stations grand facelift and fresh new website.

At an official ceremony marking the occasion, Mayor Carol Provan praised the dedication and hard-work of volunteers at 2SSR as she officially declared the new studio open.

2SSR FM has been on the air in Sydney’s Sutherland Shire since September of 1992 and in 2012 is kept alive by 60 voluntary Presenters and staff.  

2SSR FM will be celebrating the stations new look and its many other achievements over the last 20 years with an Anniversary dinner on Thursday the 4th of October at the Gymea Tradies club. Tickets are $40 pp and those wishing to attend should RSVP by Thursday the 27th of September.
