The journalistic skills of Barossa Valley's Triple B FM volunteer, Jason Balk were recently recognised when he was presented with a Media Citation at the Catholic Archbishops awards in Adelaide.

Jason was awarded citation for a backstage radio interview with comedian, Ms Fiona O’Loughlin. His natural interview techniques were commended and attributed to his ability to reveal personal details of Ms O’Loughlin’s life and introduction to comedy.

Jason has been involved with Triple B in Barossa Valley for 15 years, hosting the fortnightly Sunday segment As the Days Go By.
