Volunteering and Transformation National Volunteer Week 2013

National Volunteer Week is Australias largest celebration of volunteers and volunteerism and runs from the 13th to the 19th May, 2013.

As part of National Volunteer Week, Volunteer West will be holding an event including guest speakers discussing volunteering and its impact on health, well-being, the economy, social cohesion, and the importance for communities to strategically plan to support volunteerism.

Volunteer West believes volunteers are at the heart of our community – building friendships, helping those in need, sharing skills and making the world a better place.
