2XX FM has grown dramatically over the last year and is a force to be reckoned with on Canberra’s airwaves. But, the station is looking to turn it up a notch with their 2013 Radiothon, scheduled to run from Monday 27 May to Sunday 2 June 2013.

2XX FM will be running their radiothon as a Pozible campaign, a crowdfunding platform and community-building tool for creative projects and ideas.

Founded in 1976, 2XX FM produces between 14 and 20 hours of local programming every day. That’s 135 hours a week of local content, produced and presented by 2XX FM volunteers. Programs include everything from genre-specific music shows to environmentalist talk-based programs to ethnic language shows.

2XX FM serves a diverse range of interest groups in the ACT by providing a range of vital information and entertainment services which are not available from government or commercial broadcasters.
