A strategic plan is used by stations to set priorities, focus energy and resources, and strengthen operations.

It does this by ensuring that staff, volunteers, your community of interest and stakeholders are working towards common goals, by establishing agreement on intended outcomes/results, and assessing and adjusting the station's organisational progress.

An operational plan is a detailed plan that outlines exactly how the station will achieve its strategic goals. These will incorporate your station's vision and mission.
