Be part of this year's CBAA Conference - make a workshop submission
Want to be part of the premier event in the community broadcasting calendar? We're now accepting workshop proposals for our 2016 Conference, taking place in Melbourne from 10 - 13 November.
The Conference is the largest annual gathering of community broadcasters - a unique event that brings together a diverse range of community broadcasters to develop and strengthen their skills, knowledge base and sector network.
We're looking for workshop proposals from people and organisations from within and outside the community broadcasting sector that focus on capacity-building within community radio stations and effective not for profit business practices.
Submissions from interested speakers should focus on the following topics:
- Conflict resolution
- Volunteer management
- Financial viability
- Technology development
- Community engagement
- Governance
- Engaging with rural and regional communities
We just need to know:
- The proposed title of your workshop
- Brief description of your workshop (Max. 150 words) - please focus on what attendees can expect to get out of the session (learning objectives)
- A key topic from the list above
- The name and organisation of all presenters
- A short biography for each presenter (max. 50 words per presenter)
We're accepting submissions until 5pm AEST on Sunday, 24 April 2016.
