CBAA Conference workshop submissions open
The CBAA is seeking submissions from those interested in running a workshop at this year’s Conference being held on the Gold Coast from 9 - 12 November.
The conference is the premier event on the community broadcasting calendar and the sector's largest annual gathering. Our delegates come from all over Australia to network, be inspired and build their knowledge and skills.
We invite submissions from people and organisations within and outside of the community broadcasting sector.
Broadly, the conference covers topics including radio, community media, governance, not-for-profit growth and sustainability, content and programming, new media tech, broadcasting tech, and community and cultural development. In 2017, submissions from interested speakers should focus on one of the following topics:
- Creative community partnerships
- Community-powered journalism
- Succession planning strategies for key roles in community radio including station management, broadcast technologists, and executive board roles
- Financial management
- Emerging technologies
Submit your proposal by 12 June. Late submissions will not be considered.
