Reclink Community Cup back in 2015
Melbourne's music and community radio folks are set to hit the field again for the Reclink Community Cup - an annual take-no-prisoners clash between the Rockdogs and Triple R 102.7FM / PBS 106.7FM Megahertz.
On Sunday, 21 June, Elsternwick Park will come alive for the 21st iteration of this feel-good event that has attracted 10,000 plus people and raised more than $100,000 for Reclink's sports and arts programs for disadvantaged Australians in previous years.
Over this widely-adored event’s 21 year history, tens of thousands of sports loving, fun loving and music loving patrons have gathered to see the who’s who of the Melbourne radio and music industries that support the event on stage, as umpires, players, volunteers and patrons.
This year also recognises 25 years of outstanding work by Reclink Australia to improve the lives of the most disadvantaged and vulnerable people Australia-wide through participation in sport and the arts. With a national network of member agencies, Reclink Australia provides annually more than 100,000 individual opportunities to participate in over 10,000 sport and arts activities around the country.
Last year, the Rockdogs took home the coveted Cup. Who will take the honour of winning the 2015 Reclink Community Cup?
