6.30 pm AEDT, 14 March 2018

The CBAA's National Features & Documentary Series (NFDS) gives new and emerging community radio producers the opportunity to make a radio feature for national distribution, receive mentoring from experienced producers and be paid for their work. All you need to enter is a great idea!

Successful applicants are trained and mentored by the Community Media Training Organisation to turn their idea into a feature for a national audience, distributed by the Community Radio Network. Once the documentary is complete, they are paid for their work.

Attend this webinar to find out how you can get involved in 2018 and:
  • Learn about the NFDS application process and selection criteria.
  • Get tips on effective storytelling for radio.
  • Learn how to pitch your story idea.
  • Hear the stories of previous producers.
Presented by:

AndrewMcLellan

Andrew McLellan - CRN Operations Coordinator

Andrew joined the CBAA in 2015. Having studied music technology at the Queensland Conservatorium, he’s worked as an audio engineer/producer, composer, sound designer, and live AV technician. He first got to know community radio at 4ZZZ in Brisbane, a major node in the underground music and art scene where Andrew was earning his chops. There he hosted music and talks programs, and worked in the office as the Content Development Coordinator. It was there he filed weekly programming with the Community Radio Network, and now he’s found himself on the other end.

+ 2018 participants, Simon Finch (Disconnected States, The Pulse Geelong) and Kaarina Lindell (How Digital Changed Music, Triple R).

Hosted by the CBAA's Danny Chifley.
