Phoenix FM, Bendigo are mourning the loss of presenter and pioneer for the blind, Geoff Morris.

Mr Morris passed away on Tuesday, 6 March, aged 72.

Mr Morris was a well-known Bendigo resident who throughout his career served as a broadcaster for Phoenix FM as well as several positions for the Institute for the blind.

In addition to his exemplary work in local broadcasting, Mr Morris was also the author of a popular relationship column for the local newspaper, the Bendigo Advertiser.
