OKR FM Assistant Program Manager, 14 year old Audrey Flannery, is presenting her 100th Show on Thursday May 1st.

Audrey will be dedicating the show to Blaze Aid, a volunteer-based organisation that works with families and individuals in rural Australia after natural disasters, such as fires and floods, to rebuild fences that have been damaged or destroyed. The show will feature songs requested by the Blaze Aid volunteers at the Wandong Base Camp as well as recordings of speeches from the Governor General’s recent visit to Blaze Aid as part of the Roger’s Rambles segment.

OKR FM is located in Kilmore, Victoria and has been broadcasting to their local community since 20012. OKR FM airs a mix of music programming, with specialist music programs and community programs, including local youth programs such as the OKR Young Presenters Quest.

Audrey has been involved with the station since 2011 and has made fantastic contributions. She was featured as part of the 'Out of the Box' section of the November 2013 CBX Magazine, which is available here.

Congratulations to Audrey for her continued commitment to the community broadcasting sector.
