Once a year, Sydney's 2SER reminds listeners of the value of independent media and asks for their support in the station’s annual Supporter Drive.

This year’s two week celebration, showcasing the diversity of the station’s programming, begins Monday 14 October and runs for two weeks.

The theme focuses on 2SER’s content: Stories, Ideas, Music.

This year, the station has introduced a new breakfast show, a morning news service, and showcased many new music acts to the Sydney listening audience. 2SER has increased its talk programming across the week and introduced a new program for Afghan refugees into its ethnic programming mix on Sundays.

2SER has been on air for 34 years, operating outside commercial media interests and committed to offering a unique insight into alternative culture and information beyond the mainstream.
