What's in this months segments?

This month we find out about 13YARN, a national service offering a confidential one-on-one over the phone yarning opportunity and support for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who are feeling overwhelmed or having difficulty coping.

We learn about a new headspace campaign which is shining a light on the mental health of young people from migrant and refugee backgrounds, and encouraging young people from all cultures to seek support in tough times.

We catch up with R U OK? community ambassador Glenn Cotter to hear about the difference we can make in someone’s life if we meaningfully ask them ‘are you okay?’ and then listen to them carefully and without judgement.

We learn about new research which highlights the growing issue of widespread loneliness in Australia and find out some of the things we can all do if we’re experiencing loneliness.

And we find out more about the work Roses in the Ocean is doing to provide safe spaces for people experiencing emotional or suicidal distress.
