The CBAA is thrilled to announce the 10 recipients of the 2021 CBAA Conference Scholarships. These Scholarships are valuved at almost $1,200 each for community radio station representatives to attend the CBAA Conference 2021, from 2-4 December in Cairns, Queensland. 

Holly has been working and volunteering in independent and community music and arts media since 2010. Working as the CBAA's Head of Advocacy and Communications, Holly supports the sector's leadership efforts and liaises with Government, as well as ensuring our members have the information they need do be strong and successful. Holly cut her teeth in community radio at Sydney's FBi Radio because of her love for weird electronic music, but has also made appearances around the place at 2SER, Eastside and even at Berlin Community Radio.

The Board of community radio station, 2RPH, has announced the appointment of Barry Melville to the role of General Manager of the station. The appointment follows the imminent departure of the current General Manager, Sancha Donald.

The Community Radio Listener Survey is launched and shows that 31% of all radio listeners in Australia tune in to community radio.
