Join us to learn about how CMTO's Audio Ability has revolutionised community broadcast training by putting people with disability at the centre of planning, design and delivery of training. The 16-week program breaks barriers, empowering people with disability and taps into an underrepresented cohort of volunteers. We are passing the mic to the participants of Audio Ability to listen to their experiences.

The CBAA thanks everyone who made a submission and provided feedback on the draft Codes of Practice at the first consultation phase of the Codes review. A new round of public consultation has opened. We invite stations, sector stakeholders and the community at large to review the revised draft Codes and provide final feedback. The consultation phase will run for four weeks between Thursday, 28 September 2023 – and Thursday, 26 October 2023.

The CBAA would like to remind broadcasters that have retained COVID-19 vaccination data that they may no longer be required to retain it, and that recent advice from SafeWork Victoria indicates that Victorian organisations may need to delete that data now.
